It’s In All Four

“And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.” – Luke 9:16 (ESV)

Continuing along in Luke, I read through chapter 9 on Tuesday and the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. In one of my study Bibles, I saw a chart containing a listing of all of the miracles that Jesus performed. I find it interesting that Jesus’ feeding of the 5,000 is the only miracle that appears in all four of the Gospels.

Why do you think that is ?

  1. People like to eat? haha

I don’t know… never really thought about it that way.

  2. I’ll have to ponder that myself. I did really like this sermon on this very subject, though: Supply & Demand.

Thanks for your comment today on my Rambling Rose blog, and for the link here on your sidebar. That’s my less-read blog, and I mostly write it for myself, but it sure is nice to know a few folks read it! 🙂

  3. lol to the comment by M :o) that is funny :o)

  4. Because Jesus Himself IS The BREAD of LIFE!
